Motorcycling Euro-MP Delighted At Reopening of Museum

News that the National Motorbike Museum in Solihull is to reopen today has been welcomed by, West Midlands Euro-MP Liz Lynne.

The Liberal Democrat MEP has been a keen motorcyclist since attending the annual MEP motorcycle ride in 2000 and passed her test two years ago. She was among the many people who visited the previous museum.

She said:

"As a keen motorcyclist I was horrified when I heard the museum had been destroyed by fire. The museum was very popular before the fire and has been rebuilt in just 15 months. I would like to congratulate all those involved in getting it back up and running and I look forward to visiting it in the near future.

"More people should be aware of the advantages of motorcycles and not put off by media images. Motorbikes take up little road space, use very little fuel and allow you the freedom to go anywhere.
